Canadian / Australian photographer based in Brooklyn, New York and working worldwide.
My practice is an ongoing exploration of personal narrative through the genre of still life. Often removed from the studio in favor landscape and alternative contexts, my approach is married to the naturalistic elements of light, object, and photographic process, allowing space for a new visual language in still life where images reflect the act of living.
This creative approach translates to my directorial work, with every scene functioning as an element of a larger visual composition, or page in an extended story, leading the viewer through and across a gently unfolding narrative.
